Daily Report #23

salty ham lovers,

I suffer from anorexia Maris. The kilos fly off. No unnecessary calories on this ship. Three meals a day but no meat, no fish?, no beer, no wine, few products that could lead to weight gain. However, I feel good, only the heat is playing tricks on me. But luckily it's Brownie day tomorrow because it's Mark's birthday. Hip, hip happy birthday. We will sing. Hopefully she gets it. Congratulations H!
Hopefully we will have the same weather and the same carefree eventless day. Sailing is actually just keeping everything going. This morning we were struggling again with a broken reef line. (Third time) Anyway, that's what you get when your trial sailing period coincides with the trip. We also did not investigate all sail configurations long and well. And it is not advisable to do that in wind force 6 or 7 as we had all day yesterday. For example, it appears that the luff of the mainsail resonates at higher wind speeds. So the cart on the mast rail almost knocks off. And that's what you're listening to all the time. Tried everything to fix that but there is always a moment when it happens. Increasing or decreasing the luff tension does not help. With exactly the right wind angle and the right tension on the luff (string tight), that thing will flap again. So now I'm just going to mess around with making some kind of pads that fit between the luff and rail to keep that string that's the luff from resonating. Higher practical physics if you ask me. With those pads I try to shorten the string length in such a way that it falls outside the resonance frequency. Hoping for the best.

Slowly but surely it is dawning that the ocean is very big. It's fun and sometimes frightening to watch it every day. It's like watching the flames in a fireplace, you never get bored. And because you are not preoccupied with daily worries, you get all kinds of thoughts and memories presented by your brain. Suddenly you remember people's names or remember events that you thought you had forgotten. It is very nice and surprising to experience that. You go on a trip and you take with you; your brain! I don't know if it's useful, of course, but I think it's funny.

I could also say it differently.
After you have cleared your mind, the pathways to higher consciousness open up, giving you a glimpse into the etheric processes that are always in the background but are now manifesting better. By processing it, your energy pathways become free of blockages and your chakras open, which leads to a more harmonious balance of energy, mind and body. However?
