We have an Iridium Go, YB3i antenna and an AIS on board. Thus our position can be tracked via Predict Wind and Marine Traffic. We will download daily grib files that contain information with which we can see the current weather overview in the PW Offshore app. We can interpret weather forecasts on the route we are going to sail. Everyone can see where we are and which weather conditions we are experiencing. This could be fun and scaring at the same time. It is possible that any one of these electronic onboard systems is temporarily unavailable but we assume that at least 1 system is available for many to see.
