The second round.
Our second visit to Sydney took place from January 29 to February 14, 2023.
We have done the following:
- New 3 color LED top light installed and connected in the mast
- New Raymarine windvane set installed in the mast, wire fed and connected.
- Replace worn halyards passing through the mast.
- Replace other lines.
- Replaced and connected navigation lights on the pulpit.
- Lazy jack and boombag installed and sails mounted.
- Adjustments to mainsail rail system made to connect all carts to the sail.
- Wires for Iridium Go antenna, Navigation and steering system, plotter, lighting, YB3i antenna and sensors routed and old wires from B&G system removed.
- All navigation, steering and communication systems in the network connected and made working.
- Steering cylinder connected and steering machine calibrated and tested.
- Installed 4 solar panels and two Li batteries, routed wires and connected control equipment.
- Drinking water tanks and drinking water system made working.
- Gas bottle reducer connected and stove/oven cleaned and made working.
- Refrigerator installed and made working.
- New compass installed and background lighting made working.
- Floodlight in aft mast repaired.
- All systems tested during sea trial in Sydney Harbour.
