Day two.
It's grey. But there is a fairly constant wind of a maximum of twenty knots. More backward than contrary. We have currently averaged a speed of 5.5 knots. And that saves time. But you can also easily lose it again. The ocean is little to see here. Mark has seen a small species of storm petrel, but I haven't seen anything alive. Two no longer flying fish on deck. So it's all a bit boring. It's still somewhat chilly. We are really waiting for the warm weather. Especially at night, being completely battle-dressed against the cold on deck is starting to bore me. We will probably pass the English ascension island on Thursday morning. We will not stop. I have applied for - and paid for - a visa, but Mark has not, so we continue sailing. There probably isn't much to see anyway. Besides, I've been there before. On the way to a customer in the Falklands. Islas Malvinas. The Argentinians would like to have it too. I once again provided financial support to the government of a rising island in the South Atlantic Ocean in a fun way. A drop I think.
In an endless ocean.
Greetings Mark and Ton
