Daily report #72

Dear everyone,

Albatrosses, petrels, dolphins. No flying fish. And a little swallow. Sob.
And summer didn't bring the swallow either. It's gradually getting warmer, but I'm just sitting here in the evening shivering my ass off. Brrrr.
It has never been this cold during our trip. It must be the chill factor.
The food is currently excellent. All fresh products on board. And plenty of chocolate. One of my favorites. The other one is not on board.
We have again drastically reduced our meat intake. And that's fine. I don't miss it. I can't say that I function better or see things better or anything, I don't think I notice any change in my performance. But according to my personal dietician, food doesn't make that much of a difference in effect on your health as long as you get just about all the nutrients you need. I do wonder whether I am completely better from my most recent virus infection. Every now and then I feel a bit feverish and dizzy, but that could also be a combination of the cold and getting used to the moving ship. My appetite isn't quite back to normal either. As usual, this happens again when the hangover is gone. And then all that life energy will probably come back in all its power.
Well, maybe the fact that we've been on the road for so long also plays a role. But the distance is becoming less and less.
There are quite a few movies on my iPad again. So I lay on my bed a lot with that thing in my hand. No, my iPad. It's really nice when you can drift so completely away in someone else's story. I also downloaded a number of books. Including that of G. Mak about Jan Six. Very nice.
And so there is always someone on the lookout. As it should. It's definitely not busy here and we generally have excellent visibility so it's a no-brainer. Pretty boring.
Everything is as usual. Nothing is broken. I baked my first bread yesterday. And that for a baker. We continue.

Greetings Mark and Ton
