Daily Report #71
Tuesday, 29 August 2023
Dear followers,
Bad and good news today.
Ode to the young swallow
Oh little young swallow what have you done?
Did you go out on the water on your own?
Or the wind took you on its wings
And you came so far out to sea
You whirled down I shouted "come aboard"
I didn't see you after that, but you must have heard
You must have closed your eyes exhausted deep in the sail
I looked for you but didn't see you go anywhere
You should have stayed, we have plenty of room
Cozy chatter together early in the morning
And every day breakfast with a fly with the tea
A cheese sandwich for us, then you had two
You could also sleep inside cozy warm in bed
I got a spot next to the pillow and really paid attention
We would have taught you how to chirp in English, that would have been done in no time
And then on St Helena you could have gone on your own wings.
Well not found tough swallow what have you done?
Did you go out on the water on your own?
Or the wind took you on its wings
And you came so far out to sea
But also good news of course!
This morning at dusk for the first time in ages a whole class of dolphins ahead!
Papa's mama's and the little ones. (Did I also see backpacks?)
I think school has started again!
best wishes from
Tony and Mark
