Dear loyal readers,
We have left the Great Barrier Reef behind us and carefully because so busy with shipping.. that's not too bad because we stay nice and close to the coast and they don't sail there. Or it's Whit Monday and that's why they all anchored. Haven't seen a boat all day. Many of the local coasts have been seen up close and it is phenomenally beautiful. Many tropical islands where a PotC film set could have been. We now only see saltwater crocodiles near those islands. A remnant of that time when we anchored at such an island and promptly saw a huge sea crotch. Then you no longer go on land or in the water. I can assure you.
Sailing at night in these conditions is fantastic. Looking at the stars every night and in the pancake of the Milky Way is always enchanting. With the star app you can discover a large number of new constellations and their individual stars as well as the planets that are visible during the night. Only with the universe and the little meaningless individual reflections that a person can put against it. Incomprehensible.
We are now well attuned to each other and have all technical problems under control. We sail safe, alert, well fed and rested. And especially glad we're not messing around on the South Pacific with Bft 12 or something around there together with the towering waves that take your sight and breath away. I can say with confidence that we humans are born for this work. Grt
