Daily report #61

All,

I'm reading the worst book in the world. It is a book by an American best seller author. Not Stephen King. A good translator can afford that. But it seems like this book was thrown through a beta version of google translate and sent to Apple's vending machine without editing. What a bagger. But I'll bravely get through it anyway. I have seen all my downloaded Netflix series. I also have 10GB of movies on my phone, but the app for that is parked in the Icloud by apple. Finally I found a reason to appreciate android a little more. If you don't configure your apple devices properly, it will do everything in default that won't bother you online, but will do offline. You are never too old to learn something, as long as you are not too old not to forget it.
Not from Cruyff, not from Confucius.
We have an appointment with Port E to walk in there Saturday on Sunday. As it stands, the following Wednesday could be an opportunity to take the leap to Cape Town. Where we could be roughly four days later. It looks like we have few jobs to do and certainly no big jobs. Yesterday we fixed the last problem with the lever of the rudder stock, so everything works properly. We only want to fix the leaks coming from the foredeck. Maybe with sealant and pur foam, I don't know yet, but it would be nice if we didn't have to empty the bilge twice a day on courses where a lot of water runs over the foredeck.
Had a delicious sheppard pie today. With eggplant, onion, cabbage, chorizo, emmental cheese and mashed potatoes. Really really tasty. By Mark. Yesterday I made a boletus-gorgonzola soup with onion, leek, dried mushrooms, spaghetti, ready-made boletus soup (French, from a pack) and 250 grams of Gorgonzola in the context of a very moving ship. And a bun with butter on the side. Really top restaurant quality food here on board. I can honestly tell you that I did not add anything to my stomach until late in the evening in order to be able to continue to taste the Gorgonzola on my tongue with careful belching. Unfortunately, I had to brush my teeth before going to sleep, otherwise I probably would have had a wonderful dream about it. Kind of obsessive compulsive that brushing, I know, but it has to be done!
We walk nicely with an increasingly northerly wind to Port E. The sun is shining, it's a fantastic sailing day. Just a little fresh.

But we brought clothes for that.
