Daily Report #59

Readers,

Over the calm windless waves we plow on.
On the bike again.
And we roll back and forth.
That reminds me of Heinz Polzer.

Things look good for the next few days.
We intend to round this cape with care and caution.
After all, there is a chance that this beautiful cape will become less beautiful in a short period of time.
But for now the weather forecast looks favorable to be able to sail to Cape Town in one go.
But you never know, caution is advised. And need preparation.
Having several days with long periods of no wind is demoralizing.
You do have time to do some other things, but it is downright annoying to have to listen to that engine and that rattling propeller shaft all the time.
Out of desperation, you just turn it off for a while. To have some silence again.
Eating exhaust fumes in the cockpit all the time is also no fun. We have tried everything to keep it away from there but the only option is to change course in the wrong direction or turn off the engine. It's not getting along.
Tomorrow the wind will pick up again. Around the afternoon. That's the expectation. We happy.

Greetings Ton and Mark
