Daily report #109

Hi everybody.

It's finally getting a little cooler. It's a relief. But within a few days we will of course be chattering in the pouring rain again. Not to mention the autumn wind.
We are now sailing reasonably on course with a minimum of 8-10 knots of wind where we are running at around 4.5 to 5.5 knots. It is just not enough to gain confidence in a somewhat early arrival in IJmuiden. We can be very concerned about that, we do, but it comes as it comes.
In any case, K2 is in good condition. These are the last shoots, so to speak.
Today we ate the soup of the day (leftovers from before arrival).
And we have a lot of fresh stuff. Fruit, vegetables, potatoes. Delicious. Then we can leave the canned food in the cupboard again for a while.
And breakfast is somewhat as usual, except that it now contains drinking yoghurt. We couldn't find regular yogurt.
And we still have a few scoops of fresh bread. Not to be despised.
We can easily access all supplies.
Just that strong breeze that finally brings our speed above 6 knots. But preferably no autumn storm. That would be too much of what was desired...

Greetings Mark and Ton.
