Daily report #102

Dear readers,

Fortunately, we are on a kind of rain train. The resulting wind gives us a strong push in the back towards Cape Verde. However, there is also a lot of rain. Everything is 200% humid and there is no sun shining to evaporate all that water. As a result, it also starts to smell a bit. You smell that when you come in from outside. Rain, rain, rain. And a nice 12-20 knot wind.
It looks sad out there, but the distance we can cover on the motorcycle can now take us to Cape Verde. Undesirable but possible.
At first, according to PredictWind, we seemed to end up in a windless area. These showers were not predicted. We're lucky. Yesterday we had little wind and a lot of sun, but with a very overgrown milkmaid we still made good progress.
Now we are making good progress, but with a smaller milkmaid who can also reef much easier.
Lunch consisted of a potato-onion-pumpkin-butterbean-gorgonzola-noodle soup. We're going to participate for two days. Tasty!
As we speak, the dolphins are tumbling around our boat. A bit surprising, I must have missed the sign Harderwijk during my watch.
So we are in good shape again because of all the beauty and beauty that nature has to offer.
For now, I don't need to see her terrifying face. I like it just fine.

Regards. Mark and Ton.
